What I learned this summer:

If love is not returned, stop pushing it.

You cannot EVER force someone to like you back. Ever. There are just some things that make you completely wrong for that person. And even though the truth might hurt I felt like I’d been kicked through a wall and had my heart stabbed over and over with a screw driver— yes it’s plausible it’s so easy to get over them. Like I hardly remember what I was crying about three weeks ago :/

And that’s the honest truth.

I guess as kids we shouldn’t focus so much on being with someone. Singledom might sound absolutely treachorous in this teenaged state but it’s honestly not something to worry about. I’d focus on my dreams more and deal with companionship later.

Because they always have cats for that, right?
